Valtech Internship:
Navico Wireframes
A Stepping Stone
Before embarking on my higher education journey, I had the extraordinary opportunity to intern at Valtech, a global leader in digital transformation. During this enriching experience, I had the privilege to contribute to the wireframe design of a B2B website for Navico, a renowned marine electronics company. Navico is a distinguished name in the industry, specializing in navigation, marine instruments, and fish finding equipment, catering to both recreational and commercial marine sectors.
My Contribution
My role in this project was multifaceted, encompassing various aspects of web design such as modifying the page layout, resizing elements, and prototyping. Throughout this project, I worked hand-in-hand with a seasoned UX designer, learning and growing under their mentorship. The team was a diverse mix of skilled individuals, including a project manager and front-end and back-end developers, all working in unison towards a common goal.
The Work
The prototype we created was not a static entity but a dynamic tool, evolving based on the client's feedback. Every piece of insight they provided was promptly integrated into our work, creating a feedback loop that constantly propelled the project forward. This experience was not just about creating a website, it was about learning to collaborate, adapt, and continuously improve. It served as a valuable steppingstone into my college life, providing me with a practical understanding of the digital design world that I was about to dive deeper into.
